The Steel Innovation Prize has been awarded every three years since 1989. To celebrate the 20th anniversary, more than 1300 guests representing commerce, research and industry were invited to an event that featured some magnificent innovations.

13 prize winners from four categories and this year’s special category “Climate Protection with Steel” received their awards from the event’s patron, Dr. Markus Miele, and the Chairman of the Steel Information Center, Prof. Karl-Ullrich Köhler.
